The first was from March, 1957 to February, 1966 President Dr Kwame Nkrumah; the second was from October, 1969 to January, 1972 Prime Minister Dr. Busia; the third was from June, 1979 to September, 1981 President Dr. Hilla Limann; the fourth was from January 1993 to January 2001, Jerry John Rawlings; January 2001 till present, John Agyekum Kufuor.
