To a Man like I,

I propose Men like us protect our family at all cost.  Working to secure their interests based on the knowledge we have of the times.  Possibly sacrificing short term comforts for the long term security, often beyond the scope of our women.

I propose Men like us enlarge our families, taking on our due share of the many fatherless and, like the shepherds we are, guide them to the pastures of Life.  In so doing, we may harvest their infinite potential for a just cause.  Such a person may prove more valuable than some immediate family members.

I propose Men like us continue to engender our good favor upon the rank in file in society, likewise the ghetto youth and the market women, never losing touch with the direction the wind is blowing nor the stench of the gutter. Using our connections to keep us abreast and ahead of the game at all times, knowing how and when to move, to protect our families.  Sharing that information amongst other Men like us, who are prepared to strengthen the movement with their own resources and knowledge.

I propose Men like us pray for the best and prepare for the worst.  In so doing, I trust that Men like us will realize that we are very ill prepared for what awaits us, however it isn’t due to a lack of resources, but our lack of initiative to employ them.  I trust Men like us will realize that our greatest resource lies in each other and our vast extended wealth, both intellectual and tangible.

I propose Men like us stay away from the temptation to identify each other in the way of the common, that is to label and stamp, obligate and impose a structure that is easily attacked by the enemies of progress.  Rather, I propose Men like us remain fluid, constantly adjusting to the background of our setting and quick to identify each other solely by the caliber of a Man’s works.  But on those rare occasions where we are deceived by appearances, I trust Men like us will expose such impostors to prevent any further damage in our ranks.

Men like us are few in number, but sufficient enough to network this whole globe.

Men like us are laying in wait for Men like us to ally strengths and propel works, defying the negative trend that has engulfed the masses.

Men like us will not be stopped nor deterred, rather,  Men like us will breed even more Men like us.

Men like us gave the original seed that spun the nations and generations, and men like us will be around long after they are all gone.
