No
matter where you are in the world, you must be abreast with their rules
governing trade. By all means, you will engage in activities that require
licenses and so forth. For those of us that were not born in Ghana, we are
met with a very strict set of rules for doing business. It is suggested that one
becomes familiar with the guidelines before investing. Those of you
interested in establishing a business primarily for the purpose of acquiring
legal residency should also check this section out, for we provide alternative
means of going about it, without the huge sums of money required to start a
business.

Last but not least, make sure that your list of
items is complete. Most things are available here, but very little on
credit and most with the added cost of importation and duties. It would be wise to buy
what you need while you are there and ship it one time in your incoming
container.
